Personalised Tours

Our experienced staff are delighted to provide individual and personalised family tours of the school campuses.

Primary School tours (Kindergarten to Year 6)
Various times available.
Tours are provided by the Head of Primary School and commence at 395 Argyle Street, North Hobart.

Middle and Senior School tours (Year 7 to 12)
Various times available.
Tours are provided by senior staff and commence at 23 Commercial Road, North Hobart.  Tours will cover both campuses and focus on the Middle School and/or Senior School programs and opportunities.

Principal's Tours, Enrolment Events and Open Mornings 2026

Senior School Principal’s Tour
Thursday 12 February | 9am to 10:30am

Commencing at Friends’ Senior School (23 Commercial Road, North Hobart), this guided tour offers the opportunity to meet and talk with our Principal, Esther Hill, learn more about our curriculum and co-curricular programs, view our facilities, meet staff members and engage with current Senior School students. The tour will include a morning tea and an opportunity to speak with our Enrolments team.

St Helens Principal’s Meet and Greet
Thursday 19 February | 5:30pm-6:30pm

Interested families on the East Coast and North East Coast of Tasmania are warmly invited to meet Principal, Esther Hill, our Head of Boarding Matt Dixon and Enrolments Manager Jen Scharkie.  During the event, Esther will share her insights on fostering a supportive and enriching educational environment at Friends’. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the School’s vision for the future and connect with other Friends’ families. Some complimentary light food and a drink on arrival will be provided.

Discover Kindergarten at Friends’
Wednesday 25 March | 4:30pm – 5:30pm

Commencing at Friends’ Primary School (395 Argyle Street North Hobart), this event will provide parents and guardians with the opportunity to:

  • Discover our curriculum: The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), which focuses on the development of the whole child, offering a framework to meet the academic, cultural, physical, social and spiritual development of each person.
  • Meet our passionate and experienced Kindergarten teachers.
  • Learn about our recognition that each student is an individual and that teaching and learning nurtures this individuality whilst encouraging growth in all areas.
  • Tour our Kindergarten learning spaces and hear about how we value the indoor and outdoor environments as key ingredients in learning programs.
  • Learn about how the Primary School makes connections to our world, we find authentic ways to participate and contribute to our local and global community.

The tour will include a morning tea and an opportunity to speak with our Enrolments team.

Our school tours are held during term time.

Tours must be booked in advance by registering via the links provided above.
