A sense of community plays an important role at The Friends’ School.

We strive to create an inclusive and rich experience for all community members.

Many engaging activities are undertaken by the Friends’ community throughout the year including The Friends’ School Fair, the ever popular Grandparents and Older Friends Day at Morris, our Volunteers Thank You event and the Peter Underwood Peace & Justice Lecture.

Each year, students lead and organise service events and experiences that recognise and support charities, and promote sustainability and a healthy lifestyle including Relay for Life, Harmony Day, Quaker Service Australia week, Ride 2 School Day, daffodil picking for the Cancer Council, the Southern Support School Social and The Colony 47 Christmas Appeal.

Our cherished 50+ Alumni Luncheon and strong reunion program keeps alumni connected, promoting the unity and welfare of all our alumni, and the entire Friends’ community.

By maintaining a strong connection to our community, Friends’ continues to offer its students a rich and fulfilling school experience that extends beyond the classroom and prepares them for adult life.
