Friends’ Together 2018

We are delighted to report that during Friends Together 2018 our generous community raised $36,185.

These funds were used to:

  1. Enable a new student, whose financial circumstances prevented them from attending Friends’, to commence in Year 11 this year thanks to The Friends’ Fellowship.
  2. Contribute to the redevelopment of the Argyle Street Canteen, including lowering the counter for the benefit of our youngest students and improving access to healthy food choices.
  3. Fully fund the online database and e-catalogue subscriptions in the Morris, High School and Clemes Libraries, supporting the development of vital information literacy skills for all our students.

Giving to Annual Giving, has an immediate impact, including in a very meaningful way for our Friends’ Fellowship 2019 recipient who had this to say:

“The Friends’ School and the Fellowship are a great opportunity for someone who wishes to further their education in the best way possible. I am excited and very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Friends’ School community.”

In Term 1 2019 we invited all our donors to share afternoon tea in the newly opened Argyle Street Canteen where student representatives thanked our donors in person.

Thank you to everyone who donated, for your friendship and support.
