End of Year Gathering and Principal Farewell

The whole School community came together for a special event on Wednesday 6 December 2023 in The Farrall Centre. We came together to listen, reflect, centre and share at the End of Year Gathering, where the theme was ‘Change’. It was also an opportunity to farewell and acknowledge Principal Nelson File for his 11 years of outstanding service and leadership at The Friends’ School.
We heard some very moving words from past staff members, current students and our Quaker Values Committee Members. Students performed a number of wonderful musical pieces and we wish to thank everyone who was involved in putting together a meaningful and reflective event.
We want to sincerely thank Principal Nelson for his significant contribution to The Friends’ School. We wish Nelson, Lisa and their son Spencer the very best with their move back to the USA.
