The Friends' School

High School (Years 7-10)

High School at Friends’ consists of Years 7 to 10 and is located on the Commercial Road campus. The High School is home to more than 550 students in four houses (Hodgkin, Mather, Ransome, Unwin).

The Houses are each led by a Co-Head of High School – Joe Cairns, Louise Giudici, Paul Goodluck and Kim Rowlands.

Each student participates in a range of subjects from the eight faculty areas, with all students in Year 7 having a taste of each subject, including four languages. In Years 8, 9 and 10 students gradually tighten their focus on preferred subjects suited to their future educational needs. Subject information is available on the Curriculum page.

The High School Handbook explains the School’s position on computer ethics, student behaviour, drugs, bullying, etc.
