Fees
Fees for Early Learning, Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care are charged per day of attendance. Accounts are emailed fortnightly and we accept payment by bank transfer, credit card payment or scheduled direct debit.

A discount of 50% can be applied for periods of planned absence (family holidays etc.) where 14 days notice is provided in writing to the Friends’ Early Learning Administration team. A discount of 50% can also be applied for periods of leave when a child is unwell provided a medical certificate has been emailed to the Friends’ Early Learning Administration team.
Child Care Subsidy
Child Care Subsidy is available to all eligible families enrolled in Friends’ Early Learning and/or Outside School Hours Care / Vacation Care.
To apply for the Child Care Subsidy:
- Step 1: Sign in to your myGov account. If you do not have one, you will need to create one.
- Step 2: Link your myGov account to Centrelink. You can do this under “Services”.
- Step 3: Select Centrelink and complete the Child Care Subsidy Assessment.
- Step 4: Confirm your child’s enrolment.

Days of Operation
Vacation care sessions operate during Term breaks and student free days only (as applicable to The Friends’ School)
3 Year Old Kindergarten
To be eligible for 3 Year Old Kindergarten children must have turned 3 on or before the 1st of January and be scheduled to attend a school-based 4-5 Year Old Kindergarten Program in the following school year.
After School Care, Co-Curricular
Co-curricular care applies to children who attend a co-curricular activity during part of an After School Care session.
Late Collection Fee
Without exception, a late fee of $40 per 10 Minutes or part thereof applies to each child still on the premises at or after 6.00pm
