‘Are You Ok’ / ‘SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY’ Week
From Monday 6 – Friday 10 November, the High School are hosting an ‘RU Ok’ / ‘SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY’ Week.  The week will kick off with random acts of kindness. This could be saying something nice to someone, or even helping them with what they are doing. On the Tuesday, there will be gentle music on the bottom green at lunch time. On the Wednesday there will be a dress-down Free Dress day for a gold coin donation with hot chocolate and cold milo for sale. During Thursday there will be a Gratitude Garden outside S203 at the noticeboard, with sticky notes to write something nice to someone. Finally on the Friday students can wear colourful socks and other accessories (e.g. hat). This program is based upon raising awareness for ‘SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY’ and ‘R U OK.’ These charities are here to help you when you are in a tough time and they want everyone to be OK. You should never just think that someone is all right because they might not be. So, if you see someone looking down, go say something nice to them.
