Co-Head of High School Appointed
We are pleased to announce that after a national search, Kim Rowlands has been appointed Co-Head of High School and Head of Unwin house. We thank Kim for acting in this role to this point and look forward to her continued service to the School.

Co-Curricular Photos – Monday 31 July
Friends’ families are asked to note that photos of all co-curricular groups will be taken on Monday 31 July at The Farrall Centre.
Information regarding uniform requirements and times are available on the full schedule.
Parents are asked to please take note of the date, times and uniform that is required on the day for your child.

eSmart School – SnapChat SnapMap Feature
If you or your child uses SnapChat it is worth being aware that a recent update has introduce a feature called SnapMap that enables the sharing of the location of a person on a map. This link describes how to disable this feature in SnapChat.
This type of feature is available in other applications as well, such as Apple’s Find Friends app, FaceBook’s Messenger app and others. This link describes how to manage location services on iOS and Android phones.

Parent Information Session – ‘Courage, Resilience and Failing Well’
Parents of students aged from Year 2 through to Year 12 are invited to attend this free session, designed to assist parents to support their children to build resilience skills at home. Presenter Lance King is the creator of the ‘Art of Learning’ program delivered to over 200,000 students in 32 countries. He travels the world as an educational consultant, workshop facilitator and keynote speaker. The seminar will be held:

Quiz Night Tickets Now on Sale!
Saturday 26 August
Nothing beats a Quiz Night for a fun evening out and tickets to the P&F Quiz Night and Silent Auction are now on sale from Main Reception.
For just $20 per ticket (this event is not suitable for children, so there are no concession prices), you’ll enjoy a tasty light supper, with drinks available for purchase at the event. Hosted once again by the very entertaining Quizzer of Oz, you can also enjoy some quiet shopping at the silent auction.
The P&F thanks all donors, with contributions to the Quiz Night & Silent Auction event continuing to grow. If you would like to donate an item, please contact Michele Wilson.
And remember, you can purchase your ticket over the phone – just ring Main Reception on 03 6210 2200 to purchase your tickets – and then collect your ticket from the Argyle Street campus if you prefer.

School Shop
A reminder that The School Shop is closed on the last day of term and will therefore close from 5.00pm on Thursday 6 July for the duration of the holiday period. The Shop will be open on Monday 24 July (the day before Term 3 commences) from 8.00am to 12.00pm.
