The Rowing Experience
A note from a former master, Andrew Stewart, in the 1984 Echoes aptly sums up the attraction of rowing:
“Rowing is a particularly demanding sport and requires a possible greater commitment than any other sporting activity. In return it offers a unique camaraderie amongst its participants which often spills over into later life.”
